The traffic was gradually brought to a standstill by the police on the A14 last night - just in front of me and only a few hundred metres from my usual turn-off. Then a Eurocopter from the East Anglian Air Ambulance arrived to land on the carriageway. A nasty accident in the other direction - trust that the ambulance crews managed to get the injured to hospital okay.
